The 20th Congress of the Hungarian Association of Applied Linguists and Language Teachers [MANYE]

For two decades, the MANYE Congress has been a forum for applied linguistic researchers, language teachers in public and higher education, and other professionals (translators, dictionary editors, writers of language books, computer linguists, etc.) of Hungary and the whole of the Carpathian Basin.

The University of Debrecen, the Hungarian Association of Applied Linguists and Language Teachers, and the Regional Directorate, Linguistics Work Group of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences are holding the 20th Congress of Applied Linguistics. The title of this year’s Congress: Applied Linguistics Today: innovation, technology, and tradition.

The following are the planned topics: From Theoretical Linguistic Basics to Applied Language Sciences, Language and Culture, and Hungarian Language Education and its Perspectives. The website of the Congress is available here or can be reached through the MANYE website.
